The Championship
Season overview
Organized by FormulaRC — The Motorsport Cafe & RC Racing Arena. Eleven rounds from the Dutch GP to the Abu Dhabi finale, with separate podiums for Pro and Open categories.
Open
No assist restrictions — ideal if you are starting out or just want to race for fun. Same format and fees, different prizes.
A championship pass is required to earn points. Joining mid-season? No problem — your points count only from the rounds after you join. Standings are tracked separately for each category.
The Game
F1 24
The championship is contested on EA Sports F1 24 — the official Formula 1 video game. Every time trial, qualifier, and race runs on the FormulaRC sim rigs in F1 24.
Race Weekend
How it works
1 — Qualifying
Book an official Qualifying Session from the FormulaRC web or mobile app. Format is Time Trial on the current F1 race-week circuit — one official attempt per round. The fastest 8 drivers make the multiplayer race.
2 — Practice
Practice is optional and may be booked separately. Championship Pass holders receive one practice session per race week on weekdays from 5 PM to 1 AM.
3 — Race
A one-shot qualifier — a single flying lap — then a race at 25% of real F1 race distance. No restarts after crashes. The top 5 finishers score championship points.

Points are awarded to the top 5 in every race, in each category. The three drivers with the most points in Pro and in Open at the December Abu Dhabi finale take their category podiums and prizes.
If two drivers finish level on points for a category championship lead, a special tie-break race decides the final classification.

Schedule
Race timing
FormulaRC race start is locked to the real Formula 1 lights-out time (IST):
- If the F1 race starts before 9:30 PM IST, the FormulaRC race starts 30 minutes after the main race.
- Otherwise, the FormulaRC race starts 30 minutes before the main race.
Sporting Code
Conduct & eligibility
- Drivers must be at least 14 years old.
- Intentional collisions, dangerous driving, and destructive behaviour may result in time penalties or classification changes.
- Three incidents observed by stewards result in immediate exclusion without refund.
Entry
Championship packages
Choose how you race the season. Sessions are non-transferable and valid only for the registered driver. A pass is required to earn championship points. Same packages and fees apply to both Pro and Open.
Pricing explained
Every session — practice, qualifying, or race — costs ₹300 if you pay as you go. Buy a season pass upfront and lock in a discount for all 11 rounds.
